Among the services offered to individuals, the following stand out:

Infidelities

If you suspect that your partner may be unfaithful, an investigation conducted by one of our detectives can be crucial in clarifying your suspicions. After properly assessing the particular situation, we will gather the evidence that will allow you to determine if your partner has been unfaithful, uncovering with whom and for how long the infidelity has occurred.

Don’t suffer from possible theories any longer; trust one of our professionals, and you will be able to make an informed decision regarding your relationship based on the results obtained.

Child and spousal support

It is quite common for parents obligated to make these payments to fake situations in order to evade or minimize their obligations, which could be classified as family abandonment under our Penal Code.

If you believe that your ex-spouse is evading their financial obligations for the maintenance and support of your dependent children, a report from one of our detectives specializing in family services could be the solution to your problem, gathering all the evidence to demonstrate the fabricated situation.

Child custody and visitation rights

In the family domain, child custody and visitation rights services are highly demanded by parents who suspect that their ex-spouse is not fulfilling their obligations towards their children.

If this is the case, after a well-conducted investigation by one of our professionals, you can request a custody agreement review and present an investigation report containing the evidence supporting your suspicions that the other parent is not suitable for the care of the child.

Examples of common situations could include: the child spends many hours alone or unattended; your ex-partner resides in the marital home with their current partner; or delegates the care of the child to friends or family during extended periods.

Addictions, drugs, gambling

At Delta, we are aware of the delicacy required in addressing these issues that cause so much pain and suffering to the individual affected and their family.

If you suspect that a family member may have a drug dependency or a gambling addiction, the role of the detective is crucial. After monitoring the person affected by these addictions, the detective can gather evidence and confirm your suspicions, allowing you to provide help and prevent the problem from worsening over time.

Locating missing persons

For various reasons, you may find yourself needing to locate a person whose current whereabouts are unknown, or to obtain information about that person (such as their employment status, residence, contact details, or frequently visited places) or their economic capacity (feigned insolvencies, assets). These cases can be quite challenging, which is why Delta Investigations can offer these services, guaranteeing the highest quality and confidentiality.

Paternity tests

Paternity tests are one of the most requested services in private investigation offices. This test allows you to determine the biological relationship between two people. Often, one party refuses to undergo the test, so in such cases, the interested party is entitled to hire a detective who can obtain biological samples from an item discarded by the investigated person (a tissue, gum, or cigarette butt) by conducting thorough surveillance, always respecting the procedure and acting within legal frameworks.

At Delta Investigations, we are aware of the various behaviors that can occur within a company and the economic and organizational consequences these can entail.

This is why we offer various labor-related services that will help you put an end to these circumstances and prevent your business from being adversely affected.

Unfair competition

Unfair behavior is considered to be any conduct contrary to the requirements of good faith. Examples of such behavior could include: disclosing confidential/relevant information to a competing company, diverting clients, damaging the company’s reputation, or using that reputation for personal gain.

These practices negatively affect the organization’s prestige and production. Delta, after analyzing the situation, will develop a strategic investigation to obtain evidence of these behaviors and put an end to this dishonor.

Fraudulent sick leave and absenteeism

Cases of fraudulent sick leave are increasingly common, occurring in both small and large companies.

This situation arises when an employee fakes or exaggerates a temporary disability (TD) to continue receiving their salary while benefiting from staying at home. In short, the employee is committing fraud against the company.

At Delta, we can put an end to these situations by conducting surveillance and monitoring the investigated person, gathering the relevant evidence that the employer can use to support a justified dismissal of the employee on TD.

Some common evidence to confirm fraudulent sick leave include:

Internal theft

Also known as “ant theft,” this occurs when an employee abuses the trust placed in them by the employer and steals material goods or money from within the workplace, thereby obtaining undue profit. This conduct, in addition to potentially constituting a crime, can be grounds for disciplinary dismissal by the employer.

At Delta, we can offer an investigation that will clarify your suspicions, gathering the necessary evidence in case this is happening within your company.

Lawyers

The relationship between a detective and a lawyer can be very beneficial in many cases, as we are the professionals authorized by law to obtain evidence that can be highly useful in litigation.

Therefore, whether you are a law firm or an individual with an ongoing or intended legal procedure and believe that you need to obtain some type of evidence pertinent to the case, at Delta we encourage you to contact one of our specialists. We are qualified to gather the evidence that we will include in a final report once the investigation is completed. These reports can be ratified, thereby having the status of documented testimony and constituting a means of evidence provided for in Article 299 of Law 1/2000 of the Civil Procedure Law (LEC).

Additionally, we remind you that our team includes the supervision of a legal expert, which ensures the highest quality in legal matters.

Events

One of the lesser-known services of private detectives is plainclothes surveillance. Plainclothes surveillance has great advantages over the services provided by uniformed security guards, as it is much more discreet.

Article 48.1.b of the Private Security Law grants us this function, allowing the detective to obtain information aimed at ensuring the normal development of activities taking place at fairs, hotels, exhibitions, shows, competitions, conventions, large shopping centers, public venues with large crowds, or similar environments.

Without wearing a uniform or identification badge, the detective can move among the event attendees without drawing attention, even conversing naturally with those present, allowing them to detect illegal and/or criminal behavior.

Each member of the security team will dress neutrally, adapting to the specific event, appearing to the public as just another attendee, while remaining in constant communication with other members of the security team through wireless communication devices.

Furthermore, our accreditation as detectives (TIP) qualifies us as expert witnesses, which facilitates the work of state security forces in case of complaints.

Frencuently asked questions

How do you guarantee the confidentiality and security of clients' information?

Confidentiality is a fundamental principle in the work of private investigators. Clients must be able to trust that any information they share will be treated confidentially and will not be disclosed to third parties without their express consent.

Detectives are legally bound (as established by Article 50 of the Private Security Law) to maintain the confidentiality of the information obtained, as well as the data provided by clients. This means that under no circumstances can information be disclosed to persons unrelated to the case unless it is necessary to fulfill our duty (such as when discovering a criminal act during an investigation, in which case we are obligated to inform the competent authorities).

In addition, Delta has the necessary measures in place to protect confidential information stored electronically. This ensures that all systems and devices used to store and transmit data are completely secure.

A private investigator is a professional hired by individuals, companies, or lawyers to investigate and obtain information in various cases, such as infidelity, fraud, internal theft, suspicious behaviors, among others.

To do this, the detective uses various investigation techniques, such as searching for information in databases, surveillance and monitoring of individuals, taking videos and photographs, conducting interviews, and any other activity that helps gather evidence to resolve the assigned case.

The detective, in order to legally perform their investigative duties, must conduct their investigations within the bounds of the law and must record their activities in a corresponding Registration Book. Additionally, they must hold the relevant license, known in Spain as the Professional Identity Card (T.I.P.), issued by the Ministry of the Interior through the Directorate General of Police and the Civil Guard.

Yes, a detective can investigate criminal acts, but only when it is at the request of the affected party. That is, those crimes mentioned in the Criminal Code where only the aggrieved party, the victim, can initiate the legal action by filing a complaint.

At Delta, we have a highly qualified team, with degrees in Law and Criminology and Security Sciences from CEU San Pablo University in Madrid. Additionally, part of the team specializes in Cybersecurity, holding a Master’s degree in Governance, Risk Management, and Compliance in Cybersecurity from the IMF x Deloitte School of Cybersecurity, a leader in the Cybersecurity sector.

These services can be hired by both individuals (private persons) and legal entities (companies). The only legal requirement to initiate the investigation is to have a legitimate interest.

Legitimacy in the assignment refers to the condition that the client must meet, meaning there must be a relationship connecting the client (hiring party) with the subject of the investigation. This relationship can be of a professional, socio-economic, or familial nature.

Yes, this is established in Article 265.5 of the Civil Procedure Law (LEC), which states:

“Reports prepared by legally authorized private investigation professionals concerning relevant facts on which they base their claims. If these facts are not acknowledged as true, testimonial evidence will be taken.”

A detective’s report must be impartial, objective, based on facts and verifiable evidence, and must have been obtained legally.

No, as long as the hiring party can prove the legitimacy of the assignment, it is completely legal.

Yes. Our authorization allows us to carry out our detective profession throughout the national territory, as well as outside of it.

There is no set period, as it will always depend on the specific case. However, at Delta, we are committed to honesty and transparency with the client, which is why, after analyzing the case individually, a plan will be developed, always seeking the solution in the shortest time possible, as much as possible.

However, at this center, and especially for cases of a labor/fraudulent nature, we believe that it is necessary to conduct surveillance on the individual for at least three days in order to substantiate a routine/habitual behavior. It is not the same to prove that a person who claims to be suffering from pain is not, by obtaining images from one day, as it is to accompany the report with several days of evidence proving that such bad-faith behavior has been repeated on multiple occasions.

Yes, it can be proven, since after conducting surveillance on the individual, we will have obtained the relevant evidence documenting that this person regularly visits a specific establishment, where they are seen performing activities that could be classified as work-related, and therefore, such activity would be remunerated.

Absolutely, as this is one of the cases where it is proven that there is the legitimacy required by the Private Security Law. In this case, related to labor matters, the employer has the right to know if an employee is harming the organization.
